Phil Golding
Phil is a Partner at Cedar Capital Partners, where he leads the firm’s acquisition and asset management activities across its hotel portfolio. He has extensive experience investing in, acquiring and managing luxury and full-service hotels across Europe and international markets. Prior to joining Cedar, Phil worked in the London and Singapore offices of HVS International, one of the world’s leading hotel advisory firms, where he specialised in hotel valuations, feasibility studies and investment advisory assignments across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. He previously worked with Christie Consulting International, one of the UK’s leading hotel advisory and agency businesses. Over the course of his career, Phil has valued hotel real estate in excess of US$5 billion and advised on hotel investments and transactions across more than 40 countries. His experience spans acquisitions, valuations, investment analysis, asset management and strategic advisory work across a broad range of hotel markets. Phil began his career with the Savoy Group of Hotels, where he completed the group’s prestigious five-year management training programme, gaining a strong foundation in hotel operations before moving into hotel advisory and then investment.
