Mr. Paul is a seasoned hotel acquisition and development specialist who was most recently the CEO of a Luxury hotel and residential development company. Prior to this he led the development of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for over 20 years. Upon joining Four Seasons in 1987 the company was a small North American focused operator with 19 properties; by 2007 the company operated over 75 hotels in more than 36 countries and had become recognized as the world’s leading luxury hotel operator. Mr. Paul’s development leadership led to the establishment of over 40 Four Seasons properties in more than 20 countries as well as a pipeline of 20 projects under development. Prior to Four Seasons, Mr. Paul held senior positions at the hotel consulting firms of PKF and Cini-Little and was a senior executive within Loblaws Companies, Canada’s largest food wholesaler/retailer. Mr. Paul started his career in operations at Four Seasons and Westin Hotels and has an MBA from York University, Canada and a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Food Administration from the University of Guelph, Canada.
